So, these are incredibly rich and unseen photographs that Vanessa Winship has selected for this B-Sides Box Set publication. Winship is a highly esteemed photographer from the United Kingdom. She is also the first woman to ever receive the Prix Henri Cartier Bresson award. These lyrical photographs have been taken during her travels through numerous countries. Such as the United Kingdom, the United States, India, Turkey and the West Bank. Moreover, she uses a mix of portrait, landscape, and documentary photography to create poetic stories that possess a deeper meaning. Winship has won two World Press Photo Awards, ‘Photographer of the Year’ at the Sony World Photography Awards, the HCB Award (the first woman to do so) and in 2018 an Honorary Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society. She is a member of Agence Vu photography agency.
