There are many coffee table books dedicated to New York, but certainly none like this one. With "New York", the photography legend Elliott Erwitt pays a monochromatic tribute to his hometown metropolis, creating a photo book that can unquestionably be classified as a work with historical significance. The native Parisian emigrated to the USA in 1939 and settled in the Big Apple in 1948. Since then, the camera has been his constant companion as he wandered through the streets of the global city.
