About Ekaterina
Ekaterina is a fictional city where Romain Mader centres his book. Here, he goes to find a girlfriend and exposes himself as a clumsy, awkward character in the search for a bride. Through a series of playful, at times humorous and at times bizarre, the photographers poses as the main character to explore vulnerability, loneliness and romance. The result is a richly visual hilarious fantasy that feels like a road trip. A very strange road trip.
